Onetime Secret
Accessibility statement
How onetimesecret.com supports accessibility, where it falls short, and how to tell us about a problem.
We want everyone to be able to use Onetime Secret, including people who use assistive technology or change their device's motion, color or language settings. This statement covers the onetimesecret.com website.
Conformance status
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site has not been formally audited, so some parts may not meet every guideline yet.
What the site does
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off its animations, and the homepage heading stays on a single example.
- Pausing motion. Otherwise, the homepage heading cycles through a few examples when it comes into view. The pause button above the heading stops it at any point.
- Screen readers. Screen readers skip the changing words in the homepage heading and read one fixed sentence instead.
- Light and dark themes. The site follows your system's light or dark setting, and the theme button in the footer switches between the two.
- Languages. The site is available in English, German, Spanish and French. Each page declares its language, so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
Known limitations
- The privacy policy and terms of service are in English only.
- This statement does not cover the Onetime Secret app at its regional addresses, such as eu.onetimesecret.com, or our documentation and status pages.
